Of One Accord Global Missions
Mexico
Global Missions supports two different ministries in Mexico:
- Pastor Manuel Perez in Oaxaca, Mexico, a native pastor with a heart for orphans in Oaxaca.
- The Blanca Castaneda Center for the Provision of the family in Mexico City. This is also known as the “Hillside Project” located in the belt of misery in Mexico City. The Hillside Project was established by Blanca Castaneda of Mexico City. She had a great desire to see women, children, and families rise above their poverty and began this work in 1998. Blanca died in a car crash in Mexico City in 2001, and today, her sister Rubie, along with worker’s from her father’s church continue the work.
Between these two ministries in Mexico, Global Missions supports the efforts of 15 churches and various feeding programs for orphans and families in Mexico. Also, families receive counseling, hair cuts and meals on Saturdays at the Hillside Project.
